This is explained by the wider recognition of professional skills, modular course structures, the standardisation of continuing education courses in all the regionís universities and the use of ICTE for distance learning.
Continuing education courses, leading to recognised degrees, can be taken in all the fields taught at Université Joseph Fourier :

Vocational training is a growing field: short special-subject courses are of particular interest to companies looking to acquire rapidly new know-how and technology available at the university's laboratories, particularly in the fields of physics, biology and engineering and applied science. Refresher modules, customised courses and tutorials may also be offered.
